•Waste of salt

•Plantain is sweet without it

•Can raise your blood pressure

•Can harm your kidneys

NEVER PUT SALT ON PLANTAIN TO FRY. Ripe plantain is sweet on its own already.

Frying a plantain to start with, rather than boiling it, gives you fats which can increase your blood pressure.

Now adding salt to the plantain and then frying it only worsens that risk to your heart.

Ripe plantain is sweet on its own already.

Frying plantain gives you fats because of the oil used. These fats over time is bad for the heart and can cause high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes.
