Popular Nigerian rapper, Olamide popularly known by hardcore fans as Baddosneh, lost his mother on Tuesday, which is coincidentally his Elder son’s birthday.
Olamide announced the sad news via his Instagram page in the late hours of Tuesday with a post written in Yoruba language reading, “Orisa bi Iya o si” which can be interpreted in English as “There’s no idol like a mother,” with the broken heart emojis.
Olamide’s mother was the second wife of his late father and is survived by three children: the rapper, an elder sister and brother known as DJ Enimoney.
Both Olamide and DJ Enimoney have shared pitch black images on their respective Instagram pages.
The rapper who is a father-of-two, had lost his father earlier in the last quarter of 2015.
